Coquette is a new one for me, but I do so love this top/dress/yumminess. Also available in pink or green, you can wear this shiny mosaic-like creation as a dress, short or long babydoll or tucked or untucked top. Not often you get so many variations on one idea but I approve mightily - a real whatever-the-weather find!
CaLLiefornia, the recent sim launch by Callie Cline, is jam-packed full of fashion goodies. Callie's signature boots stick a pointed heel through lesser options and the denim
s in the picture above are hers, too. Callie's dresses are holiday musts - whether you want a sunhat, a swimming costume or a poofy dress that nobody else at your resort can match, you'll find it here.
I've never visited A2NZ before either, but with summer coming I was tempted by the alluring detail on the Vichy swimsuits - you can pick this up in white, blue, purple, red, orange or turquoise. While I was there, a recent bikini release caught my eye, an example of which you can see in the picture - you even get a free beach towel!
Meanwhile, Devilish Cupcake lays on our extremely privileged plate a mix-and-match outfit called Gidget, apparently inspired by Abby's favourite beach bunny movie character. There are 10 different colours available as far as the babydoll halters are concerned, and 5 stylers of pedal pusher or lowrise capri to match with them. I don't know why it is that I love this set so much, I only know that I smile and make happy faces as soon as I put it on. Check out the adorable Prairie Dawn tops while you're there.
I do so love Cake's two hair releases. I know I'm a bit slow sometimes, but every time I get round to browsing Cake's store I somehow end up being tpd away on 'very important business'. Now I've finally got some Cake hair on my head, however, I am most definitely a convert. Sakura and Tart both come in more than 20 colours - the colour blendings are unlike any other hair in SL (as far as I know).
The rather beautiful running-eyeliner skin I'm wearing in many of these pictures is also by Cake.
We all love Karamia, oh yes we do! This dress comes in blue or green and was inspired by Rihanna's SOS music video. I've not heard the song, myself, but I did spend a good ten minutes dancing around in the dress to...uhhh...fully appreciate it >.>
If Wuvme Karuna didn't know how to put an SL outfit together by now, it would be a worry. A little personal claim to fame of mine is that I modelled for Wuv and Amby (of Naughty) way back when we were all noobs, three years ago. Not that they remember it :P
Wuv's talent is no less extraordinary today, as she re-opens Caliente City. If I hadn't been on a mission to get this blog entry out, I could have spent all day browsing the prettiness. Couture with credentials.
Finally, in a couple of the above pictures, you might notice that I'm wearing this gorgeous necklace by Ephemeral Creations, a barbed wire piece with large heart centre. I particularly love that you can choose to wear it in a rusted metal as well as shiny and new - and you can pick a cold black heart instead of a red one, if you like, too!
Can we go A2NZ please? I want that polkadot swimsuit like I want David Tennant ie a muchbit. Pleeeeease?
